Why My Pregnancy & Postnatal Yoga Teacher Training is For You!

Are you a trained yoga teacher and interested in adding a hugely rewarding specialty of pregnancy & postnatal yoga to you offerings?

Then come and join my Yoga Alliance UK accredited 80-hour teacher training course which starts in September 2023.

45 hours in-person in Tunbridge Wells or join us live online over 3 weekends: 16th & 17th Sept, 14th & 15th Oct, 11th & 12th Nov with another 35 hours of self study, written assignments, further research, class observation and teaching practice.

Or if you are pregnant and wanting to dive deeper into understanding your pregnant body and how best to prepare for an empowered birth and recover afterwards, then you can join the course via the ‘Personal Development Route’ (class observations, teaching practice not required & essays are optional).

Not only from my own experience, but also the hundreds and hundreds of positive testimonials that I’ve received over the years convince me that mindbody preparation, including yoga, can and does make a huge difference to women preparing to have babies.

You will learn how to safely adapt classic yoga poses for 2nd and 3rd trimester women and for the early postnatal period, whatever kind of birth she had,  and you will also understand the emotional considerations of your students which is vital at this very vulnerable and precious transition in life.

We weave in mindbody techniques with an understanding of pain psychology, how mindfulness can play a role, breath physiology, sports psychology techniques, hypnosis and hypnobirth, assessing body image and self-belief as well as all the benefits of the physical asana.

After completing this pregnancy & postnatal teacher training course you will be able to confidently offer both pregnancy yoga with hypnobirth relaxation and postnatal yoga with baby bonding.
